Lunch is my downfall.
It's the meal I give the littlest consideration to until it's right upon me. It's become a bad habit while I've been writing my cookbook really, all the recipe testing and cooking tips-writing leaves me no time to make even a simple salad for lunch (the irony!). And that's when the failures begin. Maybe I'm a food control freak but I've found even when I rely on a 'healthy' fast food place to make my meals I'm regularly disappointed. So before I even begin to list my New Years' resolutions, I'm making an end of year resolution: get organised with the middle meal of the day so it's not a steady slope into a lackadaisical dinner too.
